Employers sometimes request psychological evaluations of employees for a wide-variety of reasons.  In some cases it is due to potential concerns that employers have regarding hiring an individual or promoting him/her to a new position.  In other cases, employers desire to conduct a screening process, seeking to identify particular qualities or attributes that they believe will best meet the needs they have for various open positions.  Naturally, it is costly to advertise, interview, hire, and train new employees.  Consequently, the investment of an employment assessment often is money well spent in the long-run, saving the company important dollars as well as strengthening human resources.
